Throughout the Encyclopedia Project I learned that mathematics goes back very far. In my project particularly I learned that matrices date back 2300 years ago and they come from across the world in china and what is now Iran. I learned that I am not very good at researching specific topics like this one, but I did enjoy that this project went outside of the typical classwork that we do in Algebra Two. I also learned that like finding out things about what we are learning in class, further than the typical explanation the teacher gives, if any. To make my work in this class as beautiful as it can be for exhibition, I think that I should include more information and explain some of the concepts I discuss in my paragraph further.
Semester One Exam and Projects:
Our last project was to create questions of different subjects and difficulties (within the chapters we've focused on so far) for our semester exam. Personally I found this project quite difficult. I think that the concept of having students design problems for their own exam is super cool and helpful. Although, I did struggle with the creating problems for the set difficulties. I'm planning to prepare and study for the test by going through the review and finding what I need to work on. Then going through my notes and the textbook to practice the procedures to solve them. Personally, I struggle a lot more with Algebra 2 concepts than I understand them. I have problems remembering and using things I learned. Formulas are definitely the hardest thing for me. I have a hard time keeping them separate from each other and remembering how and which ones to apply.
